Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan pemahaman matematis siswa melalui model pembelajaran discovery learning di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Duren Sawit 02 Pagi, Jakarta Timur. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V semester 2 tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model siklus Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. Penelitian dilaksanakan 3 siklus melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi sebagian besar perencanaan ulang pada siklus berikutnya. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah adanya peningkatan pemahaman matematis dalam pengukuran bangun ruang dengan menerapkan model discovery learning yaitu pada siklus I 56,66% siswa tuntas dan meningkat pada siklus akhir yaitu siklus III mencapai 90,3% siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM. ***** This classroom action research aims to find out whether there is an increase in student’s mathematical understanding through the discovery learning model in V grade student of Duren Sawit 02 Pagi Elementary School, East Jakarta. The subjects of this research were V grade students in semester 2 of the 2022/2023 academic year. This classroom action research was carried out using the Kemmis & Mc. Taggart cycle model. The research was carried out in 3 cycles through the stages of planning, actions, observing and reflecting, most of the re-planning was in the next cycle. The results of the research obtained were an increase in mathematical understanding in measuring space building by applying the discovery learning model, in the first cycle 56.66% of students completed and increased in the final cycle and in last cycle or cycle III reaching 90.3% of students who achieved KKM scores..
