Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapsiagaan SMP Santa Maria Fatima dan SMPN 26 Jakarta dalam menghadapi bencana kebakaran. Metode penelitian yang menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis teknik Proportional Random Sampling. Adapun untuk mengumpulkan data menggunakan survei dengan alat bantu kuesioner serta teknik sampling untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai karakter populasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dibagi menjadi kesiapsiagaan struktur yang terdiri dari kesiapsiagaan sarana dan prasarana sekolah dengan mengikuti pedoman dari Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum No. 26 Tahun 2008 tentang Persyaratan Teknis Sistem Proteksi Kebakaran Pada Bangunan dan Lingkungan, dan kesiapsiagaan non struktur yang terdiri dari kesiapsiagaan siswa, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan yang mengikuti pedoman dari LIPI dan BNPB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perolehan nilai kesiapsiagaan SMP Santa Maria Fatima dan SMPN 26 Jakarta dalam menghadapi bencana kebakaran adalah tinggi; (2) Perolehan nilai kesiapsiagaan yang tinggi terhadap bencana kebakaran dipengaruhi ketersediaan aspek struktur yang mendukung upaya kesiapsiagaan menghadapi bencana kebakaran di sekolah, pengetahuan non struktur sekolah terhadap bencana, dan upaya peningkatan kapasitas struktur dan non struktur dengan mengadakan kegiatan simulasi bencana melalui kerjasama dengan lembaga terkait seperti BNPB, Damkar Jakarta Timur, dan puskesmas yang berada di dekat lingkungan sekolah. This study aims to determine the level of preparedness of Santa Maria Fatima Middle School and 26 Junior High School Jakarta in dealing with fire disasters. Research methods that apply a quantitative approach using a type of Proportional Random Sampling technique. As for collecting data using surveys with questionnaire aids and sampling techniques to obtain a picture of the character of the population. The data analysis technique used is divided into structure preparedness consisting of school facilities and infrastructure readiness by following the guidelines of the Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 26 of 2008 concerning Technical Requirements for Fire Protection Systems in Buildings and the Environment, and non-structural readiness consisting of students, teachers, and education personnel who follow the guidelines of LIPI and BNPB. The results of the study show that: (1) the acquisition value of Santa Maria Fatima Junior High School and 26 Junior High School Jakarta in dealing with fire disasters is high; (2) The acquisition of a high value of preparedness for fire disasters is influenced by the availability of structural aspects that support the preparedness efforts to deal with fire disasters in schools, non-structural knowledge of schools against disasters, and efforts to increase structural and non-structural capacity by holding disaster simulation activities in collaboration with related institutions such as the BNPB, the East Jakarta Fire Department, and the puskesmas located near the school environment.
