Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa autis dalam berbicara.Hasil studi pendahulu ditemukan bahwa anak autis mengalami kesulitan dalam berbicara dan kemampuan perbendaharaan kosakata. Permasalahan tersebut dikarenakan guru menggunakan media yang kurang variatif sedangkan media pembelajaran yang seharusnya digunakan untuk anak autis harus berupa visual agar memudahkan stimulus untuk anak autis. Kondisi tersebut mempengaruhi kemampuan berbicara anak autis pada usia sekolah dasar. Karena hal itu, diperlukan suatu stimulasi yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak autis secara menarik dan menyenangkan. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dua siswa autis kelas II SDLB Budi daya, siswa R dan N. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas Kemmis dan Taggart, di mana data diperoleh dan dikumpulkan melalui tes perbuatan, observasi, dan catatan lapangan. Dari hasil pengamatan dan tes perbuatan didapatkan sebuah pembahasan bahwa kemampuan berbicara siswa autis dapat distimulasi melalui media dadu. Hasil pra tindakan subjek N, pasca tindakan siklus I 73, dan pasca tindakan siklus II 88. Sedangkan pada siswa R nilai pra tindakan 56, pasca tindakan siklus I 67, dan pasca tindakan II 79. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa media dadu ini bisa dijadikan sebagai sarana media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan aspek perkembangan berbahasa terutama kemampuan berbicara. ***** The aim of this research is to improve the speaking skills of autistic students. The results of the previous study found that autistic children have difficulty in speaking and vocabulary skills. These problems are due to teachers using less varied media while learning media that should be used for autistic children must be visual to facilitate stimulus for autistic children. These conditions affect the speaking ability of autistic children at elementary school age. Because of this, a stimulation is needed that can be used to improve the speaking ability of autistic children in an interesting and fun way. The subjects used in this study were two autistic students in class II SDLB Budi Daya, students R and N. The method used in this research is Kemmis and Taggart's class action research, where data is obtained and collected through action tests, observations, and field notes. From the results of observations and action tests, a discussion was obtained that the speaking ability of autistic students can be stimulated through the dice board media. Subject N's pre-action results, post-action cycle I 73, and post-action cycle II 88. While in student R, the pre-action value is 56, post-action cycle I is 67, and post-action ii is 79. The conclusion of this study is that this dice board media can be used as a means of learning media in improving and developing aspects of language development, especially speaking skills
