Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sikap dan perilaku masyarakat mengelola sampah rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif pendekatan survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala keluarga di permukiman Kelurahan Jurumudi, Kecamatan Benda, Kota Tangerang berjumlah 4580 kepala keluarga, kemudian setelah dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin di dapat sampel berjumlah 98 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional random sampling. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner bersifat tertutup untuk kedua variabel yaitu 13 pertanyaan untuk variabel X dan 20 pertanyaan untuk variabel Y. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam variabel sikap masyarakat tentang mengelola sampah yaitu mayoritas responden memiliki tingkat sikap yang tinggi yaitu dengan persentase 75,5% hal ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat masih memiliki pemahaman tentang pentingnya mengelola sampah. Selanjutnya dalam variabel perilaku masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah rumah tangga mayoritas responden memiliki tingkat perilaku yang sedang yaitu dengan persentase 78,5% dimana terlihat sebagian besar responden sudah melakukan pengelolaan sampah, seperti memiliki kebiasaan membuang sampah yang ramah lingkungan, perilaku pemilihan sampah mudah membusuk dan tidak mudah membusuk, serta perlakuan terhadap barang bekas layak pakai. This study attempts to know what are the attitudes and the behavior of the people manage garbage households .Methods used in this research is descriptive approach survey. The population in this research is the head of the family at the village of Jurumudi district of Benda Tangerang 4580 of family heads , then it has been calculated using formulas slovin in be sample amount is 98 respondents.Sampling techniques using random sampling. The data retrieval echnique the sample collection use proportional random sampling .Technique the sample collection use proportional random sampling .Technique the data using the questionnaire is closed to both variables at 13 questions for variables x and 20 questions for variables y .The results of this study indicate that in the community attitude variable about managing waste, the majority of respondents have a high level of attitude, with a percentage of 75,5 % this indicates that people still have an understanding of the importance of managing waste. Furthermore, in the variable behavior of the community in managing household waste, the majority of respondents have a moderate level of behavior, namely a percentage of 78.5% where look the majority of respondents have done waste management , as has the habit of environmentally friendly taking out the garbage , behavior garbage election easily decomposed and not easily decomposed , as well as treatment of goods used items.
