Abstract
***** This study aims to analyze the level of effectiveness of loading and unloading performance on the Xpress Nupste ship and the optimal level of loading and unloading equipment Quayside Container Crane (QCC) at the Koja Container Terminal when loading and unloading activities are carried out on the Xpress Nupste ship for the period May 2022. The method used in preparing the thesis is a descriptive qualitative analysis. This research was conducted by analyzing document data then followed by conducting interviews and observational observations. In this study, the authors analyzed the performance results from planning data with realization data to find out the causes that influenced the performance results of Box Ship per Hour (BSH) on the loading and unloading activities of the Express Nupste Ship and the performance intensity of the tool or Crane Intensity (CI) on the Quay Container Crane tool. (QCC). The results of the comparison between the plan and the realization during the loading and unloading service show that the actual activities do not always go according to the planned plans, based on the results of the analysis only voyage 22007N was able to meet the Box/Ship/Hour (BSH) target with a total of 73.70 boxes /ship/hour. The performance of using the QCC tool (CI) during loading and unloading activities can be said to be not optimal, based on an average result of only 2.61 of the average use of 3 cranes, there are 0.64 cranes not working effectively due to crane breakdown and clash of cranes
