Abstract

Penggunaan model pembelajaran yang tepat, akan mempengaruhi minat belajar siswa sehingga pelajaran lebih aktif dan hasil belajar dapat meningkat. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang mempengaruhi siswa agar lebih aktif dan mendapatkan hasil belajar kognitif yang meningkat adalah model pembelajaran make a match. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran make a match terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Tangerang Selatan pada bulan mei 2023. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 74 siswa, dengan pembagian berjumlah 37 siswa pada kelas eksperimen diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match dan 37 siswa pada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Pada perhitungan nilai N-Gain didapat rata-rata angka N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen yakni 0,59 dengan kategori sedang dan pada kelas kontrol 0,41 dengan kategori sedang juga, didapati bahwa angka kenaikan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari angka kenaikan pada kelas kontrol. Pada uji independent t-test hasil gain score kedua kelas menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran make a match dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas oleh guru pada materi sistem reproduksi.*****The use of the right learning model will affect student interest in learning so that lessons are more active and learning outcomes can improve. One of the learning models that influence students to be more active and get increased cognitive learning outcomes is the make a match learning model. This study aims to analyze the effect of make a match learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes. The research was conducted at South Tangerang High School in May 2023. The type of research conducted was pseudo-experimental research with the research design The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample used amounted to 74 students, with a division of 37 students in the experimental class taught using the make a match learning model and 37 students in the control class who used the discovery learning model. In the calculation of the N-Gain value, the average N-Gain number in the experimental class was 0.59 with a moderate category and in the control class 0.41 with a moderate category as well, it was found that the increase in the learning outcomes of experimental class students was higher than the increase in the control class.
