Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data tentang bagaimana peserta didik hambatan intelektual mengenal warna di SLB Jakarta Timur. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu terdapat 6 Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) yang berada di wilayah Jakarta Timur. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berbentuk pertanyaan yang menggunakan skala Guttman dan data akan dianalisa dengan teknik statistika deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek menunjukkan warna 78% peserta didik sudah mampu dan 22% peserta didik belum mampu. Pada aspek menyebutkan warna 82% peserta didik sudah mampu dan 18% peserta didik belum mampu. Dalam aspek mengelompokkan warna 90% peserta didik sudah mampu dan 10% peserta didik belum mampu. Sedangkan hasil penelitian berdasarkan jenjang satuan pendidikan menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik SD sudah mampu mengenal warna 71% dan 29% belum mampu sedangkan pada jenjang SMP 96% peserta didik sudah mampu mengenal warna dan 4% belum mampu. Kesimpulannya dari data tersebut dapat diperoleh 83% peserta didik hambatan intelektual yang sudah mampu mengenal warna dari menunjukkan warna, menyebutkan warna dan mengelompokkan warna dan yang belum mampu mengenal warna ada 17%. ***** The purpose of this study was to obtain data on how students with intellectual disabilities recognize colors in East Jakarta SLB. The sample in this study is 6 special schools (SLB) located in East Jakarta. The technique used in this research is random sampling technique. This research uses a survey method. The data collection technique used is in the form of questions using a Guttman scale and the data will be analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that in the aspect of showing colors 78% of students were able and 22% of students were not able. In the aspect of mentioning colors 82% of learners have been able and 18% of learners have not been able. In the aspect of classifying colors 90% of learners are able and 10% of learners are not able. While the results of research based on the level of educational units show that elementary school students have been able to recognize 71% colors and 29% have not been able to, while at the junior high school level 96% of students have been able to recognize colors and 4% have not been able. In conclusion, from this data, 83% of students with intellectual disabilities who have been able to recognize colors from showing colors, mentioning colors and classifying colors and those who have not been able to recognize colors are 17%.
