Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen boarding school dalam pembentukan karakter di SMA Ibnu Hajar Boarding School. Sub fokus penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi boarding school dalam pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, pengamatan, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perencanaan boarding school diawali dengan rapat atau musyawarah kerja dengan semua yayasan boarding school yang ada di Ibnu Hajar Boarding School untuk merencankan visi, misi, kurikulum, program-program, peraturan-peraturan serta didukung oleh SDM dan sarana prasarana yang memadai (2) pelaksanaan boarding school dalam pembentukan karakter siswa dilakukan dengan beberapa cara, moral knowing yaitu melakukan pengajian kitab dan kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah. Moral feeling untuk membangun kesadaran rasa cinta terhadap nilai karakter dengan program TAB (Tahsin-Tahfidz Adab-Akhlak dan Bahasa Arab), program market day, program LDKS. Moral action menerapkan 6S (senyum, salam, sapa, sopan, santun, sabar) (3) evaluasi boarding school sudah dilakukan secara situasional. Hal ini dikarenakan semua kendala dan hambatan yang muncul pada saat evaluasi boarding school dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik dapat teratasi secara langsung. **** This study aims to determine the boarding school management in character building at SMA Ibnu Hajar Boarding School. The sub focus of this research is the planning, implementation and evaluation of boarding schools in character building. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method. The technique of collecting data in this research uses interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that: (1) boarding school planning begins with a working meeting or deliberation with all boarding school foundations in the Ibnu Hajar Boarding School to plan the vision, mission, curriculum, programs, regulations and supported by human resources and adequate infrastructure (2) the implementation of boarding schools in the formation of student character is carried out in several ways, moral knowing, namely conducting book recitation and learning activities at school. Moral feeling to build awareness of love for character values with the TAB program (Tahsin-Tahfidz Adab-Akhlak and Arabic), market day program, LDKS program. Moral action applies 6S (smile, greet, greet, polite, polite, patient) (3) the evaluation of the boarding school has been carried out situationally. This is because all the obstacles and obstacles that arise during the boarding school evaluation in the formation of students' character can be overcome directly.
