Abstract
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh data empiris tentang hasil belajar IPA melalui model discovery learning di kelas V SDN Kramat Pela 07 Pagi Jakarta. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Peserta didik kelas VA sebanyak 20 Peserta didik pada semester kedua tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan model siklus dari Kemmis dan Mc.Tagart. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, refleksi/evaluasi sebagai dasar perencanaan ulang pada siklus berikutnya. Pada siklus I, hasil belajar ranah kognitif dan psikomotorik peserta didik menunjukkan presentase sebesar 65% dan 75% sehingga belum dinyatakan tuntas belajar karena ketuntasan belajarnya masih di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yaitu sebesar 70 dan indikator keberhasilan 80%. Pada siklus II presentase nilai hasil belajar ranah kognitif dan psikomotorik peserta didik mengalami peningkatan mencapai 85% dan 90%. Instrumen pemantauan tindakan guru dan siswa pada siklus I yaitu 80% meningkat pada siklus II yaitu 95%. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa model discovery learning dapat dijadikan salah satu model pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA Peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Dengan model discovery learning peserta didik dapat terlibat aktif, semangat, tanggung jawab, dan dapat menyumbangkan ide di dalam kelompoknya. ***** This Classroom Action Research aims to improve science learning outcomes. This research was conducted to obtain empirical data about science learning outcomes through the discovery learning model in class V SDN Kramat Pela 07 Pagi Jakarta. The subjects of this study were 20 Grade V students in the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The research was carried out using the cycle model from Kemmis and Mc.Tagart. Classroom action research is carried out through the stages of planning, implementing, observing, reflecting/evaluating as a basis for re�planning in the next cycle. In cycle I, the learning outcomes in the cognitive and psychomotor domains of students showed a percentage of 65% and 75%, so that it had not been declared complete learning because the learning completeness was still below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), which was 70 and the success indicator was 80%. In cycle II, the percentage of students' cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes increased to 85% and 90%. Instruments for monitoring the actions of teachers and students in cycle I, namely 80%, increased in cycle II, namely 95%. The implication of this research is that the discovery learning model can be used as a learning model in improving science learning outcomes for fifth grade elementary school students. With the discovery learning model students can be actively involved, passionate, responsible, and can contribute ideas in their groups.
