Abstract
Indonesia merupakan negara yang rentan terhadap ancaman dari masalah lingkungan, seperti permasalahan perubahan iklim. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui pendidikan karena berperan dalam meningkatkan kesadaran diri peserta didik mengenai pentingnya menjaga dan berperilaku ramah lingkungan. Melalui pendidikan, peserta didik mendapatkan pengetahuan yang dapat meningkatkan kesadaran diri untuk berperilaku sesuai pengetahuan yang dimiliki dan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam materi perubahan iklim dengan perilaku ramah lingkungan peserta didik SMA. Metode penelitian berupa deskriptif dengan studi korelasional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2022-2023 di SMA Negeri 60 Jakarta, melibatkan 160 peserta didik kelas 10 sebagai sampel dengan teknik multi-stage sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes berupa pernyataan skala likert dan esai. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik SMA memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dan perilaku ramah lingkungan yang tinggi. Berdasarkan penelitian, terdapat hubungan positif dan linier yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam materi perubahan iklim dengan perilaku ramah lingkungan. Diperlukan tindak lanjut dengan melakukan kegiatan atau pengayaan tambahan yang dapat mempertahankan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan. *********** Indonesia is one of country that vulnerable from threathness of environmental issues, for instance climate change issues. Alternative effort that can be done is through education, because it contributes to increase self-awareness about the necessary of preserve environmental and behave eco-friendly. Through out education, The students could obtain knowledge that can improve self-awarness to behave according to the knowledge they have and enhance their capabilities to think critically. The study aims to analyze the relationship between critical thinking ability in climate change subject matter and eco-friendly behavior of high school students. Research method used was descriptive with correlational study. The research conducted in odd semester of 2022-2023 academic year at SMA Negeri 60 Jakarta, this research involved 160 participants of 10th grades as a sample which selected by multiple-stage sampling. The Instruments used in this research were question with likert scale and essay. This research finding out that most of the participants have ability to think critically and behave eco-friendly that categorised as high. Based on person product moment test, it can be concluded there is positive correlation and linearity that significant between ability of think critically in climate change subject matter with eco-friendly behaviour. Further study required in order that students have eco-friendly behaviour by carried out improvement to think critically of students.
