Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu bahan ajar yaitu, bahan ajar buku elektronik berbasis pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas V materi bumi dan alam semesta. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian RnD (Research and Development) dengan susunan langkah model tahap ADDIE (analysys, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation). Subjek didalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Citayam 1 Depok, dengan teknik pengambilan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan angket. Sebelum pengambilan data kepada siswa, penelitian melakukan validasi produk kepada para ahli, yaitu ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan ahli media. Hasil presentase yang diperoleh yaitu ahli materi 85% , ahli bahasa 82,5%, dan ahli media 90,3% dan skor tersebut dikategorikan sangat baik. Kemudian produk diuji cobakan kepada siswa dengan perolehan skor sebesar 91,8% dengan kategori sangat baik. Selain itu siswa diarahkan untuk mengerjakan tes sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan produk, adapun perolehan skor sebelum menggunakan produk sebesar 55,2 dan setelah menggunakan produk yaitu 88,6. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dsimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar buku elektronik berbasis pendekatan saintifik ini layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas V SD pada materi bumi dan alam semesta. ***** This study aims to develop a teaching material, namely, an electronic book teaching material based on a scientific approach in science learning in class V on earth and the universe. This study uses RnD research (Research and Development) with the ADDIE stage model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The subjects in this study were fifth grade students at SDN Citayam 1 Depok, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and questionnaires. Prior to collecting data on students, research conducted product validation to experts, namely material experts, linguists and media experts. The percentage results obtained were material experts 85%, linguists 82.5%, and media experts 90.3% and these scores were categorized as very good. Then the product was tested on students with a score of 91.8% in the very good category. In addition, students were directed to take tests before and after using the product, while the score before using the product was 55.2 and after using the product, namely 88.6. Based on these results, it can be concluded that electronic book teaching materials based on a scientific approach are appropriate for use in learning science in class V SD on earth and the universe material.
