Abstract

Perkembangan dan kemajuan teknologi yang pesat memengaruhi segala sektor, termasuk sektor pendidikan. Hal ini menimbulkan tuntutan baru bagi tenaga pendidik untuk menguasai keterampilan dasar pada abad 21, yakni penggunaan teknologi digital guna meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Walaupun begitu, penguasaan kemampuan tersebut memerlukan transformasi pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi digital dengan pendekatan teori kepemimpinan transformasional, pelatihan, komunitas praktik virtual, dan IT self efficacy. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuisioner online berskala Likert 5 point, dan teknik analisis data dengan Structural Equation Modelling. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa dari 7 hipotesis yang dibangun hanya 2 hipotesis yang diterima yakni pelatihan dan komunitas praktik virtual yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi digital guru. Sedangkan hipotesis lainnya ditolak, artinya tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan baik secara langsung maupun yang dimediasi. Uniknya, khusus variabel pelatihan menunjukkan memiliki pengaruh namun arahnya negatif. Rekomendasi yang diberikan dari penelitian ini adalah strategi peningkatan kompetensi digital guru dengan 1) memberikan penguatan terhadap komunitas praktik virtual, 2) memberikan penguatan terhadap pelatihan digital yang efektif, 3) memadukan kepemimpinan transformasional dengan kepemimpinan digital. Rapid technological developments and advances affect all sectors, including the education sector. This raises new demands for educators to master basic skills in the 21st century, namely the use of digital technology to improve learning effectiveness. However, mastering these abilities requires a transformation of knowledge. This study aims to investigate the factors influencing digital competence with transformational leadership theory approaches, training, virtual practice communities, and IT self-efficacy. This study used a quantitative approach, with data collection techniques through online questionnaires on a 5-point Likert scale, and data analysis techniques with Structural Equation Modelling. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that of the 7 hypotheses built, only 2 hypotheses were accepted, namely training and virtual practice communities which had a significant effect on teachers' digital competence. While the other hypothesis is rejected, meaning that it does not have a significant influence either directly or mediated. Uniquely, the specific training variable shows it has an influence but the direction is negative. The recommendations given from this study are strategies to improve teachers' digital competencies by 1) strengthening virtual practice communities, 2) strengthening effective digital training, 3) combining transformational leadership with digital leadership.
