Abstract

Kerusakan lingkungan merupakan salah satu permasalahan kompleks yang terus terjadi hingga saat ini. Upaya penyelesaian kerusakan lingkungan dapat dilakukan melalui pendidikan lingkungan hidup untuk membangun perilaku pro-lingkungan peserta didik. Perilaku pro-lingkungan berkaitan dengan beberapa faktor diantaranya adalah kompetensi lingkungan yang dapat menunjang penyelesaian permasalahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kompetensi lingkungan dengan perilaku pro-lingkungan peserta didik SMA Negeri di Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan studi korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 170 peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta yang dipilih melalui teknik multi-stage sampling. Hasil uji prasyarat analisis menunjukkan bahwa data penelitian bersifat normal dan homogen. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dan korelasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara kompetensi lingkungan dengan perilaku pro-lingkungan peserta didik SMA Negeri di Jakarta. Analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku pro-lingkungan peserta didik dapat ditingkatkan melalui pengembangan kompetensi lingkungan dalam menstimulasi kesadaran yang didasari oleh pengetahuan dan diimplementasikan melalui keterampilan lingkungan. ***** Environmental damage is one of the complex problems that continues to occur today. Efforts to solve environmental damage can be done through environmental education to build pro-environmental behavior of students. Pro-environmental behavior is related to several factors including environmental competence that can support the resolution of environmental problems. This study aims to analyze the relationship between environmental competence and pro-environmental behavior of public high school students in Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive with a correlational study. The sample in this study was 170 students of class X SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta who were selected through multi-stage sampling technique. The results of the prerequisite test analysis showed that the research data were normal and homogeneous. Testing the research hypothesis using simple linear regression and correlation tests. The results stated that there is a positive relationship between environmental competence and pro-environmental behavior of public high school students in Jakarta. The research analysis shows that learners' pro-environmental behavior can be improved through the development of environmental competencies in stimulating awareness based on knowledge and implemented through environmental skills.
