Abstract

Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) merupakan pendidikan tinggi setelah program sarjana yang mempersiapkan guru yang berkompeten dan bersertifikat pendidik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dampak program PPG SM3T terhadap kinerja mengajar dan sikap terhadap profesi guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mixed method dengan pendekatan sequential explanatory design. Tahap awal kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengukur dampak degan cara membandingkan kelompok alumni PPG dengan yang bukan alumni PPG. Pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan model countenance digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada dampak program PPG. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner sikap terhadap profesi guru dan kuesioner performance self assessment yang dinyatakan valid dengan nilai loading factor dan nila AVE > 0,50; pedoman wawancara; dan studi dokumentasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 80 guru alumni program PPG Universitas Negeri Jakarta tahun 2013 dan 2014, dan 80 orang guru bukan alumni PPG yang telah bersertifikat pendidik melalui PLPG sebagai kelompok pembanding. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online melalui jotform dan wawancara terstruktur. Wawancara dilakukan pada pengelola PPG dan alumni PPG. Temuan pada penelitian ini yaitu tidak ada interaksi antara keikutsertaan guru dalam PPG dengan jenis kelamin guru. Artinya program PPG memberikan dampak yang setara pada peserta tanpa memandang jenis kelamin. Temuan lainnya yaitu program PPG berdampak positif pada kinerja mengajar guru dan sikap terhadap profesi guru alumninya. Namun dampaknya tidak cukup kuat, dalam arti meski kedua kelompok berada pada kategori yang berbeda namun selisih perbedaan skor rata-rata nya lebih kecil dari rentang skor dalam satu kategori. Beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap dampak program PPG tersebut antara lain faktor penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan, metode penilaian yang digunakan, kehidupan berasrama, dan hasil lulusannya. Kata Kunci: Evaluasi Dampak, Kinerja, Pendidikan Profesi Guru, Sikap terhadap Profesi Guru The Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) is a higher education program following the bachelor's degree program that prepares competent and certified educators. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the impact of the SM3T PPG program on teaching performance and attitudes toward the teaching profession. This study employs a mixed-methods research design with a sequential explanatory approach. The initial quantitative phase is utilized to measure the impact by comparing the group of PPG alumni with those who are not PPG alumni. The qualitative approach, using the countenance model, is employed to identify factors influencing the impact of the PPG program. Instruments employed in this study include a questionnaire on attitudes toward the teaching profession, a performance self-assessment questionnaire validated with loading factor values and AVE (average variance extracted) values > 0.50, interview guidelines, and a documentary study.The sample for this research consists of 80 teacher alumni from the PPG program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta from the years 2013 and 2014, and 80 teachers who are not PPG alumni but have obtained teaching certification through PLPG (Teacher Professional Education and Training Program) as the comparative group. Data collection is conducted online through JotForm and structured interviews. Interviews are carried out with PPG program administrators and alumni. Findings from this study indicate that there is no interaction between teachers' participation in the PPG program and their gender. This implies that the PPG program has an equal impact on participants, regardless of gender. Another finding is that the PPG program has a positive impact on the teaching performance of teachers and their attitudes toward the teaching profession. However, this impact is not particularly strong, as the difference in average scores between the two groups, although falling into different categories, is smaller than the score range within one category. Some factors influencing the impact of the PPG program include the provision of facilities and infrastructure, implemented teaching strategies, assessment methods used, boarding life, and the program's outcomes.
