Abstract

This study investigates the student's and teachers' perceptions of using LiveWorksheets as a medium for English class assignments at SMA Diponegoro 1 Jakarta. It identifies the advantages and disadvantages associated with its use. A qualitative approach was employed to investigate the participants' perceptions and experiences. This research uses a case study to explore phenomena in the specific context of students and a teacher at SMA Diponegoro 1 Jakarta. The study subjects comprised six classes of tenth-grade students and an English teacher responsible for teaching English in those classes. Data was collected through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The findings showed a positive response from students and teachers towards the use of LiveWorksheets. DeLone & McLean's IS Success Model served as the basis for identifying system quality, information quality, and user satisfaction indicators. This study provides useful insights into students' and teachers' perceptions of using LiveWorksheets as a digital tool for English assignments. The positive responses indicate the potential advantages of incorporating LiveWorksheets into the learning environment. Addressing the mentioned disadvantages can help to improve the platform's functioning and facilitate its adoption into educational practices. ***** Penelitian ini menginvestigasi persepsi siswa dan guru dalam menggunakan LiveWorksheets sebagai media untuk tugas-tugas kelas Bahasa Inggris di SMA Diponegoro 1 Jakarta. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi keuntungan dan kerugian yang terkait dengan penggunaannya. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk menyelidiki persepsi dan pengalaman para peserta. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi fenomena dalam konteks spesifik siswa dan guru di SMA Diponegoro 1 Jakarta. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari enam kelas siswa kelas sepuluh dan seorang guru bahasa Inggris yang bertanggung jawab untuk mengajar bahasa Inggris di kelas-kelas tersebut. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan wawancara semi-terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya respon positif dari para siswa dan guru terhadap penggunaan LiveWorksheets. DeLone & McLean's IS Success Model menjadi dasar untuk mengidentifikasi kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, dan indikator kepuasan pengguna. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berguna tentang persepsi siswa dan guru dalam menggunakan LiveWorksheets sebagai alat digital untuk tugas bahasa Inggris. Tanggapan positif menunjukkan potensi kelebihan dari penggunaan LiveWorksheets ke dalam lingkungan pembelajaran. Mengatasi kekurangan yang disebutkan dapat membantu meningkatkan fungsi platform dan memfasilitasi penggunaannya ke dalam proses pembelajaran.
