Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perhatian orang tua dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V sekolah dasar di kelurahan Tanah Sereal Jakarta Barat dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel Simple Random Sampling dengan jumlah 100 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik korelasional. Menurut hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa perhatian orang tua dan hasil belajar siswa memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar thitung = 9,310 > 1,984 = ttabel. Degan demikian hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perhatian orang tua dapat dijadikan sebagai upaya dalam membantu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. ***** This study aims to determine the relationship between parental attention and social studies learning outcomes for V grade elementary school students in the Tanah Sereal sub-district West Jakarta by using Simple Random Sampling technique with a total of 100 students. This research uses quantitative methods with correlational techniques. According to the calculation results, it shows that parental attention and student learning outcomes have a significant positive relationship. This is indicated by a correlation coefficient of tcount = 9.310 > 1.984 = ttable. Thus, the research results show that parental attention can be used as an effort to help improve student learning outcomes.
