Skripsi, Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti karakter dan perasaan insecure yang dialami tokoh Hitori Gotou dengan harapan agar masyarakat dapat lebih menyadari dan memahami bagaimana perasaan insecure seorang remaja. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah komik Bocchi The Rock karya Hamaji Aki volume satu. Metode pengumpulan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi pustaka dan simak catat, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif. Selanjutnya data temuan tersebut dianalisis menggunakan teori insecure yang dikemukakan oleh Melanie Greenberg. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa Hitori memiliki karakter pemalu dan kurang percaya diri. Kemudian Hitori mengalami tiga jenis insecure yaitu insecure karena riwayat kegagalan, kurangnya kepercayaan diri akibat kecemasan sosial, dan dorongan perfeksionisme. Insecure yang dialami oleh Hitori kebanyakan berasal dari kurangnya kepercayaan diri. Selain itu Hitori juga memunculkan ciri-ciri insecure lain yaitu merasa ditolak, cemas, pesimis, tidak bahagia, merasa bersalah, dan neurotik. Reza Friyanda. 2023. State University of Jakarta. ***** This study aims to describe character and insecure problem experienced by the character Hitori Gotou in the hope that people can be more aware and better understand of how insecure a teenager can feels. The data source of this research is the comic titled Bocchi The Rock by Hamaji Aki volume 1. The data collection method used in this research are the literature study and note-taking method, while the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. Futhermore, the data that has been found is analyzed using the theory of insecure by Melanie Greenberg. Based on the result of the study, it is known that Hitori has a shy and lacks of self-confidence characters. Furthermore Hitori has experienced three types of insecurity include insecure due to a history of failure, lack of self-confidence due to social anxiety, and encouragement of perfectionism. Most of the insecurity experienced by Hitori coming from a lack of self-confidence. Furthermore, Hitori also brings up other insecure characteristic include feeling rejected, anxious, pessimistic, unhappy, feels guilty, and neurotic.
