Abstract

Pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan Kurikulum Pelatihan ‘Water Rescue’ Berdasarkan Standar National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1006 di Badan Nasional Pencarian dan Pertolongan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan kurikulum menggunakan model Hilda Taba yang memiliki 7 (tujuh) tahapan, yaitu 1) Melakukan Diagnosa Kebutuhan, 2) Merumuskan Tujuan Pelatihan, 3) Memilih Isi Kurikulum Pelatihan, 4) Mengorganisasikan Isi Kurikulum Pelatihan, 5) Memilih Pengalaman Belajar, 6) Mengorganisasikan Pengalaman Belajar, dan 7) Memilih Evaluasi. Hasil penelitian berupa prototype kurikulum pelatihan yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh instruktur dan penyelenggara pelatihan di Badan Nasional Pencarian dan Pertolongan. Teknik evaluasi pada pengembangan ini menggunakan metode evaluasi formatif dengan melibatkan 1 (satu) ahli kurikulum, 1 (satu) ahli materi, dan 3 (tiga) pengguna. Berdasarkan data kualitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil evaluasi formatif, disimpulkan bahwa kurikulum pelatihan layak digunakan sebagai acuan pelaksanan pelatihan dan telah memenuhi kriteria aspek tujuan, aspek isi/konten, aspek strategi, dan aspek evaluasi. ***** This development research produces a Water Rescue Training Curriculum based on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1006 at the National Search and Rescue Agency. In developing this curriculum, researcher used the curriculum development model proposed by Hilda Taba. This model consists of seven stages, namely 1) Diagnosing needs, 2) Formulating objectives, 3) Selecting content, 4) Organizing content, 5) Selecting learning experiences, 6) Organizing learning experiences, and 7) Evaluating. The results of the research are in the form of a training curriculum prototype that can be used by instructors and training organizers at the National Search and Rescue Agency. The evaluation technique that has been used in this study is formative evaluation method involving 1 (one) curriculum expert, 1 (one) material expert, and 3 (three) users. Based on the qualitative data obtained from the formative evaluation, it was concluded that the training curriculum was appropriate to be used as a reference for training implementation and met the criteria for aspects of objectives, aspects of content, aspects of strategy, and aspects of evaluation.
