Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pendekatan saintifik (5M) dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jepang di SMA Negeri 3 Depok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik observasi non-parsipatif. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan saintifik menciptakan interaksi bermakna dan melibatkan siswa dalam proses mengamati, menanya, mencoba, menalar, dan mengkomunikasikan. Integrasi konteks sehari-hari dan refleksi pasca-aktivitas dapat ditingkatkan pada proses mengamati. Proses menanya menunjukkan tantangan dalam mendorong partisipasi siswa, memerlukan strategi inovatif dan dukungan aktif guru. Proses mencoba dapat ditingkatkan dalam hal kreativitas dan berpikir kritis siswa. Dalam menalar, peningkatan kerjasama dalam diskusi dan penyusunan simpulan penting untuk mengembangkan analisis dan penalaran siswa. Dalam mengkomunikasikan, pendekatan ini mendorong interaksi bahasa target, meskipun perlu peningkatan kualitas presentasi. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini adalah integrasi pendekatan saintifik dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, yang dapat mendorong pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan komunikasi siswa. Implementasi pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu siswa menghadapi tantangan masa depan dengan percaya diri dan menjadi individu yang mandiri. Penerapan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jepang di SMA Negeri 3 Depok berhasil menciptakan pembelajaran interaktif dan bermakna. ***** This study aims to analyze the application of the scientific approach in Japanese language learning at public senior high school 3 depok. The research method used is qualitative with a non-participatory observation technique. The main findings indicate that the scientific approach creates meaningful interactions and involves students in the processes of observing, questioning, experimenting, reasoning, and communicating. The integration of daily-life contexts and post-activity reflections can be enhanced in the observation process. The questioning process presents challenges in encouraging student participation, requiring innovative strategies and active teacher support. The experimentation process can be improved in terms of students' creativity and critical thinking. In reasoning, increased cooperation in discussions and conclusion formation is important for developing students' analysis and reasoning skills. In communication, this approach encourages interaction in the target language, although the quality of presentation needs improvement. The implications of this research suggest the integration of the scientific approach in the Merdeka Curriculum, which can foster the development of students' critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills. The implementation of this approach is expected to assist students in facing future challenges confidently and becoming independent individuals. The application of the scientific approach in Japanese language learning at public senior high school 3 depok has successfully created interactive and meaningful learning.
