Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perceived social support terhadap psychological distress pada mahasiswa yang pernah mengalami pelecehan seksual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 86 mahasiswa korban pelecehan seksual. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah The Hopkins Symptoms Checklist-25 untuk mengukur psychological distress dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support untuk mengukur percerived social support. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi dengan program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 26. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh perceived social support terhadap psychological distress pada mahasiswa yang pernah mengalami pelecehan seksual. This study aims to determine the effect of perceived social support on psychological distress in student victims of sexual harassment. This study uses a quantitative approach, using purposive sampling method. The subjects of this study consisted of 86 student victims of sexual harassment. The instruments used in this study were The Hopkins Symptoms Checklist-25 to measure psychological distress and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support to measure perceived social support. Data analysis in this study used analysis regression with the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 26 program. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of perceived social support on psychological distress in student victims of sexual harassment.
