Abstract

Kreativitas dan berpikir kritis adalah dua dari enam dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila sebagai upaya mencapai sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi indikator-indikator kemampuan kreativitas dan berpikir kritis yang distimulasikan di dalam media pembelajaran bahasa Inggris digital sekolah menengah kejuruan. Studi ini berfokus pada penggunaan media pembelajaran bahasa Inggris digital pada materi kelas sepuluh di tiga sekolah menengah kejuruan yang berlokasi di Jakarta. Studi kualitatif ini menggunakan metode survei. Temuan mengindikasikan bahwa semua media pembelajaran bahasa Inggris digital yang digunakan oleh para guru berorientasi terhadap pengembangan kemampuan kreativitas dan berpikir kritis siswa. Indikator-indikator dimensi kreativitas, dilihat dari stimulasi persentase terbesar, antara lain Fluency, Elaboration, Flexibility, dan Originality. Indikator-indikator dimensi berpikir kritis, dilihat dari stimulasi persentase terbesar, antara lain Building Basic Skills, Setting the Strategies and Tactics, Summing Up, Giving Simple Explanations, dan Providing Further Explanations. ***** Creativity and critical thinking are two out of six dimensions of Profil Pelajar Pancasila as an effort to achieve quality human resources. This study aims to investigate the indicators of creativity and critical thinking skills stimulated in digital English learning media of vocational high schools. This study focuses on the use of digital English learning media on the materials for the tenth grades of three vocational high schools located in Jakarta. This qualitative study employs a survey. The findings indicate that all digital English learning media used by teachers are oriented toward developing students’ creativity and critical thinking skills. Indicators of the dimensions of creativity, sorted from the biggest percentage of stimulation, are Fluency, Elaboration, Flexibility, and Originality. Indicators of the dimensions of critical thinking, sorted from the biggest percentage of stimulation, are Building Basic Skills, Setting the Strategies and Tactics, Summing Up, Giving Simple Explanations, and Providing Further Explanations.
