Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran kondisi kesehatan mental ibu yang memiliki anak usia remaja korban kekerasan seksual. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatan mental ibu yang memiliki anak usia remaja korban kekerasan seksual serta upaya dalam mengatasi kesehatan mentalnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian studi kasus. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi dan studi pustaka. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 ibu yang memiliki anak remaja korban kekerasan seksual. Data penelitian dilengkapi data dari significant others yang merupakan korban kekerasan seksualnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terkait kondisi kesehatan mental subjek memiliki 2 fase kondisi dalam melihat kondisi kesehatan mentalnya yaitu fase akut dan fase jangka panjang. Sedangkan yang mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatan mentalnya yaitu faktor keluarga dan lingkungan sosial. Adapun upaya dalam mengatasi kondisi kesehatan mental tersebut seperti internal dari diri sendirina dalam mengelola emosi negatif, faktor dukungan keluarga dan lingkungan sosialnya. This study aims to provide an overview of the mental health conditions of mothers who have adolescent children who are victims of sexual violence. In addition, this study also describes the factors that influence the mental health condition of mothers who have adolescent children who are victims of sexual violence and efforts to overcome their mental health. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. The data collection used is semi-structured interviews, observation and literature study. The subjects in this study were 2 mothers who had teenage children who were victims of sexual violence. The research data is complemented by data from significant others who are victims of sexual violence. The results of this study indicate that the subject's mental health condition has 2 phases of psychological problems in looking at his mental health condition, namely the acute phase and the long-term phase. While the factors that influence his mental health condition are family factors and social environment. The efforts to overcome these mental health conditions include self-acceptance, family support factors and social environment.
