Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan apakah terdapat pengaruh relasi ayah terhadap kepercayaan diri pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan 224 partisipan yang terdiri dari 137 perempuan dan 87 laki-laki. Instrumen untuk mengukur Relasi ayah menggunakan Father PresencE Questionnaire (FPQ), sedangkan instrumen untuk mengukur kepercayaan diri menggunakan Skala Kepercayaan Diri. Untuk menguji hipotesis pada penelitian, analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai F hitung = 7,622 > F tabel= 3,88 dan p-value 0,006<0,05, maka hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan relasi ayah terhadap kepercayaan diri pada remaja. Relasi ayah berpengaruh terhadap kepercayaan diri sebesar 3,3% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang bukan menjadi fokus penelitian ini. This study aims to find out the effect of father relationship on self-confidence in adolescents. This study used a quantitative approach, with 224 participants consisting of 137 women and 87 men. Instrument for measuring the presence of fathers using Father PresencE Questionnaire (FPQ), while the instrument for measuring uses Self Confidence Scale. To test the hypothesis in research, the analysis used is simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the value of F count = 7.622 > F Table = 3.88 then p-value 0,006<0,05, which means that there is a significant influence of the father relationship on self-confidence in adolescents. The father relationship influences self-confidence by 3,3% and the rest is influenced by external factors which are the focus of this study.
