Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis dan mendeskripsikan makna ungkapan metafora konseptual yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu Nadin Amizah pada album Selamat Ulang Tahun yang berisikan 9 lagu. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori metafora konseptual Lakoff dan Johnson yaitu metafora struktural, metafora orientasional, dan metafora ontologis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik simak dan teknik catat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwadalam lirik lagu Nadin Amizah pada album Selamat Ulang Tahun ditemukan 3 jenis metafora konseptual yakni metafora struktural, metafora orientasional, dan metafora ontologis. Dari 42 data ungkapan metaforis ditemukan metafora struktural sebanyak 14 data, metafora orientasional sebanyak 3 data, dan metafora ontologis sebanyak 35 data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metafora ontologis dominan ditemukan dalam penulisan lirik lagu dibandingkan dengan metafora struktural dan orientasional. ***** This research aims to identify the types and describe the meanings of conceptual metaphor expressions found in the lyrics of Nadin Amizah's songs in the album "Selamat Ulang Tahun," which consists of 9 songs. The study employs Lakoff and Johnson's theory of conceptual metaphor, including structural metaphors, orientational metaphors, and ontological metaphors. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method using observation and note-taking techniques. The findings of this study reveal that within the lyrics of Nadin Amizah's songs in the album "Selamat Ulang Tahun," three types of conceptual metaphors are identified: structural metaphors, orientational metaphors, and ontological metaphors. Among the 52 instances of metaphorical expressions, 14 instances are structural metaphors, 3 instances are orientational metaphors, and 35 instances are ontological metaphors. The results demonstrate that ontological metaphors are more prevalent in the song lyrics compared to structural and orientational metaphors.
