Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara romantic beliefs dan self disclosure pada pengguna dating apps. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasi menggunakan software SPSS versi 24. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan menggunakan sampel penelitian sebanyak 284 orang dewasa pengguna dating apps berusia 20 – 40 tahun. Instrumen pengukuran yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan Revised Self Disclosure Scale (RSDS) oleh Leung (2002) dan Romantic Beliefs Scale (RBS) oleh Sprecher dan Metts (1989). Hasil penelitian mengungkap, terdapat hubungan antara romantic beliefs dan self disclosure pada pengguna dating apps. Kata kunci: romantic beliefs, self disclosure, dating apps This research was conducted to determine the correlation between romantic beliefs and self-disclosure among dating apps users. This study used a quantitative method with correlation analysis using SPSS version 24 software. The technique used in this study was purposive sampling using a sample of 284 adult dating apps users aged 20-40 years. The measurement instruments used were the Revised Self Disclosure Scale (RSDS) by Leung (2002) and the Romantic Beliefs Scale (RBS) by Sprecher and Metts (1989). The results of the study revealed that there was a correlation between romantic beliefs and self-disclosure among dating apps user. Keywords: romantic beliefs, self disclosure, dating apps
