Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali lebih mandalam mengenai bentuk – bentuk kesulitan membaca pemahaman peserta didik hambatan pendengaran kelas VI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi yang dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bentuk- bentuk kesulitan membaca pemahaman pada tahapan pertama adalah membaca pemahaman literal menunjukan bahwa peserta didik kesulitan dalam mengidentifikasi pertanyaan 5W + 1H dan kesulitan dalam mengurutkan peristiwa. Pada tahapan kedua adalah tahapan membaca pemahaman interpretatif menunjukan bahwa peserta didik kesulitan menginterpretasikan kata dan kalimat untuk menerangkan gambar dan kesulitan menginterpretasikan ke dalam bentuk gambar. Pada tahapan ketiga adalah membaca pemahaman kritis menunjukan bahwa peserta didik kesulitan menghubungkan pengalaman dengan teks bacaan dan mencari informasi yang relevan dengan teks bacaan. Keempat pada tahapan membaca makna dalam konteks menunjukan bahwa peserta didik kesulitan memahami kata –kata abstrak dan kesulitan dalam memahami konteks waktu.*****This study aims to dig deeper into the forms of reading difficulties in the understanding of students with hearing impairments class VI. This research uses a qualitative descriptive study method. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation studies which were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman models. The results of the study show that the first forms of reading difficulty are the stages of reading literal understanding that students have difficulty sequencing events and identify the 5W + 1H question form with the question. in the second stage, the reading stage of interpretive understanding shows that students have difficulty interpreting words and sentences to explain pictures and have difficulty interpreting them in the form of images. In the third stage, reading critical comprehension shows that students have difficulty connecting experiences with reading texts and looking for information that is relevant to reading texts. Fourth, at the stage of reading meaning in context, it shows that students have difficulty understanding abstract words and have difficulty understanding the context of time
