Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kebutuhan bentuk busana penyandang disabilitas tunadaksa dengan cerebral palsy untuk remaja wanita. Penelitian dilakukan di Yayasan Pembinaan Anak Cacat Jakarta dengan responden sebanyak 5 murid disabilitas yang dikelompokkan menjadi 2 jenis berdasarkan topografi atau jumlah kecacatannya pada tubuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kebutuhan bentuk busana sesuai kondisi masing-masing jenis disabilitasnya berdasarkan topografinya yaitu diplegia dan triplegia. Rata-rata responden masih memerlukan bantuan orang lain dalam berpakaian; mengalami kesulitan-kesulitan dalam berpakaian; nyaman dan menyukai posisi bukaan yang berada di depan; dapat menggunakan jenis bukaan seperti resleting, kancing, dan velcro; mengalami kesulitan pada koordinasi mata dan tangan sehingga lebih nyaman menggunakan ukuran kancing yang tidak terlalu kecil seperti ukuran kancing 1,5 sampai 2 cm dengan jumlah yang tidak terlalu banyak. Rata-rata responden menggunakan kaos untuk busana sehari-harinya; nyaman dan menyukai pakaian yang lebih longgar; nyaman menggunakan pakaian yang lebih tertutup; nyaman menggunakan jenis bahan katun dan kaos yang menyerap keringat. Rata-rata responden tidak ada masalah dalam pemilihan warna pada busana; sulit menggunakan kerah kemeja karena posisi kancing yang sulit dijangkau, sehingga mereka lebih memilih kerah rebah; dan lebih sering menggunakan pakaian dengan bentuk garis leher bulat. Kata kunci: Kebutuhan Bentuk Busana. Remaja Disabilitas Wanita, Cerebral Palsy This study aims to find out how the fashion needs of people disabilities with cerebral palsy for teen girls. The study was conducted at the Jakarta Disability Development Foundation with 5 students with disabilities grouped into 2 types based on the topography or the number of disabilities. The research method used is qualitative with a case study research approach. Data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate the need for clothing in accordance with the conditions of each type of disability based their topography, diplegia and triplegia. On average respondents still need help from others in dressing; experiencing difficulties in dressing; comfortable and like the position of the opening which is in front; can use types of openings such as zippers, buttons, and velcro; have difficulty in eye and hand coordination so that it is more comfortable to use button sizes that are not too small such as the size of buttons 1.5 to 2 cm with a number that is not too much. The average respondent uses t-shirts for their daily clothes; comfortable and like clothing that is more loose; comfortable wearing clothes that are more closed; comfortable using cotton and T-shirts that absorb sweat. The average respondent has no problem in choosing colors for clothing; difficult to use a shirt collar because the position of the buttons that are difficult to reach, so they prefer collapsed collars; and more often use clothes with a round neckline.
