Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan kontrol diri remaja penggemar K-Pop secara signifikan ditinjau dari tingkatan celebrity worship yaitu entertaiment-social, intense personal-feeling dan bordeline-pathological di Jabodetabek. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampling purposive. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 181 remaja penggemar K-Pop di Jabodetabek. Instrumen alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Brief Self-control Scale (BSCS) dan Celebrity Atittude Scale untuk mengukur variabel celebrity worship. Metode statistika yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan uji hipotesis komparatif One Way Anova. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan SPSS Versi 26. Hasil penelitian menujukkan signifikansi sebesar 0,446 (0,446 > 0,05) kemudian nilai F Tabel yaitu 3,05 lebih besar dibandingkan nilai F Hitung yaitu 0,811 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kontrol diri secara signifikan antara tingkatan celebrity worship pada remaja penggemar K-Pop di Jabodetabek. This study aims to determine whether there are significant differences in self-control of K-Pop fan adolescents in terms of the level of celebrity worship, namely entertainment-social, intense personal-feeling and bordeline-pathological in Jabodetabek. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach using purposive sampling techniques. The number of respondents in this study was 181 teenage K-Pop fans in Jabodetabek. The measuring instruments used in this study are the Brief Self-control Scale (BSCS) and the Celebrity Atittude Scale to measure celebrity worship variables. The statistical method used in this study is a comparative hypothesis test of One Way Anova. Data processing is performed using SPSS Version 26. The results showed a significance of 0.446 (0.446 > 0.05) then the F Table value of 3.05 was greater than the F Calculate value of 0.811 so that it can be concluded that there was no significant difference in self-control between the levels of celebrity worship in K-Pop fan teenagers in Jabodetabek.
