Abstract

Orang tua yang sakit kronis akan kesulitan menjalankan perannya bahkan kesulitan untuk merawat dirinya sendiri sehingga mereka tidak memiliki piihan lain selain bergantung pada anggota keluarga lain dan seringkali pilihan itu jatuh kepada anak. Akibatnya anak menjalankan peran ganda sebagai anak dan sebagai pengasuh bagi orang tuanya, situasi ini disebut sebagai parentifikasi. Situasi ini membuat anak rentan mengalami kehilangan ambigu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan panduan konseling untuk mengatasi kehilangan ambigu dalam situasi parentifikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Educational Based Reasearch yang dilakukan hingga sirklus meso pertama meliputi tahap analisis & eksplorasi, desain & konstruksi, evaluasi & refleksi. Penelitian dilakukan di 3 sekolah jenjang SMA/SMK di DKI Jakarta. Ditemukan bahwa guru BK memiliki pengetahuan yang minim terhadap isu kehilangan ambigu dalam parentifikasi. Pada peserta didik diketahui bahwa parentifikasi terjadi secara emosional dan instrumental akibat orang tua sakit dan kehilangan ambigu terjadi akibat perubahan peran dan pola interaksi dalam keluarga. kajian teoritis dan diskusi dengan ahli menunjukan bahwa six guidance of resilience menjadi kerangka kerja yang terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan ketahanan diri pada situasi ambigu. desain produk pun di buat dengan mengadaptasi kerangka kerja tersebut agar sesuai dengan kondisi disekolah yang telah di temukan pada tahap analisis dan eksplorasi. Produk diuji validasi ahli yang mendapat skor 67.6%(Layak), uji validasi media yang mendapat skor 73%(layak), dan uji keterbacaan yang mendapat skor 96.9%(sangat layak). Sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa media buku panduan konseling pada kehilangan ambigu dalam situasi parentifikasi “Layak” untuk diuji cobakan. ***** Parents with chronic illnesses often struggle to fulfill their roles and even care for themselves, leading them to rely on other family members and children often being selected. Consequently, children undertake multirole as child and caregivers for their parents, a situation known as parentification. This situation makes children susceptible to experiencing ambiguous loss. This study aims to develop counseling guidance to address ambiguous loss in parentification situations. The study employs the Educational-Based Research development model, carried out through the first meso cycle, encompassing the stages of analysis & exploration, design & construction, evaluation & reflection. The research was conducted in 3 senior high schools in Jakarta. It was found that school counselors have limited awareness and knowledge regarding the issue of ambiguous loss in parentification. Among the students, it was identified that parentification occurs both emotionally and instrumentally due to parents' illness, and ambiguous loss arises from role changes and interaction patterns within the family. Theoretical study and discussions with experts indicate that the six guidance of resilience serves as an effective framework for enhancing self-resilience in ambiguous situations so this product adopt and modify it to suit the school conditions identified during the analysis and exploration phase. The product was subjected to expert validation, receiving a score of 67.6% (Acceptable), media validation with a score of 73% (Acceptable), and readability testing with a score of 96.9% (Very Acceptable). Thus, it can be concluded that the counseling guidance book on ambiguous loss in parentification situations is "Acceptable" for trial implementation.
