Abstract
ABSTRAK Hanesta Fatma Fadillah. (4315137067). Peranan Nilai-Nilai Sunda Wiwitan Dalam Mendukung Kerukunan Umat Beragama di Cigugur Kuningan Jawa Barat. Skripsi, Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah peranan nilai-nilai Sunda Wiwitan bisa mendukung kerukunan umat beragama dan apa yang menyebabkan kerukunan umat beragama pada masyarakat Cigugur Kuningan Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan Oktober sampai dengan Desember 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Cigugur, Kuningan, Jawa Barat. Metode pengambilan informan yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga informan kunci dan satu informan pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai adat “Pikukuh Tilu” yang menjadi landasan atau pedoman hidup pada masyarakat Sunda Wiwitan di Cigugur yaitu: Pertama, Ngaji Badan (Proses memahami dan menyadari adanya sifat-sifat lain yang ada di sekeliling kita atau diartikan sebagai introspeksi diri secara utuh dan menyeluruh), Kedua, Mikukuh/Tuhu Kana Taneuh (Diartikan sebagai setia terhadap tanah, taneuh adegan dan taneuh hamparan. Taneuh adegan adalah raga atau jasmani, sedangkan taneuh hamparan adalah tanah yang kita pijak). Ketiga, Madep ka raturaja 3-2-4-5, Lilima (Madep artinya menghadap, Ratu-Raja mengacu pada makna kesempurnaan, Ratu-raja 3 artinya tekad atau ucap, Ratu-Raja 2 artinya keseimbangan, Ratu-Raja 4 artinya perang dalam diri sendiri, Ratu-Raja 5 artinya lima pancaran getaran jasmani, Lilima artinya dua fungsi indra, Ratu-Raja 6 artinya wujud diri manusia seutuhnya). Nilai adat Pikukuh Tilu sebagai pedoman masyarakat kepercayaan Sunda Wiwitan sebagai filosofi kehidupan manusia yang penuh dengan keselarasan. Perbedaan keyakinan yang dimiliki masyarakat Cigugur tidak membuat mereka saling membenci melainkan saling menghormati, menghargai dan menjunjung tinggi nilai toleransi sehingga mereka dapat hidup berdampingan secara damai. The Role of Values Sunda Wiwitan in Supporting Religious Harmony in Cigugur Kuningan, West Java. Thesis, Jakarta: Departement of Geography, Faculty of Social Science, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2020. This study aims to determine whether the role of values Sunda Wiwitan can support religious harmony and what causes religious harmony in the Cigugur Kuningan community of West Java. This research was conducted in October to December 2019. The method used was a qualitative method with a survey approach. This research was conducted in Cigugur Regency, Kuningan, West Java. The method of taking informants used is the method of interview, observation and study of documents. The informants in this study consisted of three key informants and one supporting informant. The results of the study showed the traditional values of "Pikukuh Tilu" which became the basis or guidelines for the Sunda Wiwitan community in Cigugur, namely: First, Ngaji Badan (The process of understanding and realizing the existence of other qualities that are around us or interpreted as introspection of the whole and complete self), Second, Mikukuh/Tuhu Kana Taneuh (interpreted as being loyal to the land, taneuh adegan dan taneuh hamparan. Taneuh adegan is physical, tanueuh hamparan is the land that we step on), Third, Madep ka ratu-raja 3-2-4-5, Lilima (Madep means facing, Ratu-Raja refers to the meaning of perfection, Ratu-3 means determination or saying, Ratu-Raja 2 means balance, Ratu-Raja 4 means war in oneself, Ratu-Raja 5 means five rays of physical vibration, Lilima meaning two sensory functions, Ratu-Raja 6 means the full form of human self). The traditional values of Pikukuh Tilu as a guideline of the Sunda Wiwitan community of trust as a philosophy of human life full of harmony. The different beliefs held by the Cigugur community do not make them hate each other but respect each other, respect and uphold the value of tolerance so that they can coexist peacefully.
