Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing tipe big five personality yaitu openness to experiences, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness dan neuroticism terhadap self disclosure pada emerging adulthood pengguna aplikasi online dating. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 203 responden dengan kriteria pengguna aktif aplikasi online dating, berada pada tahap perkembangan emerging adulthood (usia 18-29 tahun), dan berdomisili di Jakarta/ Bogor/ Depok/ Tangerang/ Bekasi. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan dua instrumen yaitu Big Five Inventory (BFI) untuk tipe kepribadian big five dan Jourard Self Disclosure Questionnaire (JDSQ) untuk self disclosure. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh tipe kepribadian openness to experiences terhadap self disclosure, tidak terdapat pengaruh tipe kepribadian conscientiousness terhadap self disclosure, tidak terdapat pengaruh tipe kepribadian extraversion terhadap self disclosure, tidak terdapat pengaruh tipe kepribadian agreeableness terhadap self disclosure, dan tidak terdapat pengaruh tipe kepribadian neuroticism terhadap self disclosure pada emerging adulthood pengguna aplikasi online dating. This study aims to determine the influence of each type of big five personality, i.e openness to experiences, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism on self-disclosure in emerging adulthood online dating application users. The sample in this study was 203 respondents with the criteria of active users of online dating applications, being at the developmental stage of emerging adulthood (aged 18-29 years), and domiciled in Jakarta / Bogor / Depok / Tangerang / Bekasi. The method in this study is quantitative with two instruments, Big Five Inventory (BFI) for the big five personality types and the Jourard Self Disclosure Questionnaire (JDSQ) for self-disclosure. The results showed that there was no influence of openness to experiences personality type on self-disclosure, there was no influence of conscientiousness personality type on self-disclosure, there was no influence of extraversion personality type on self-disclosure, there was no influence of agreeableness personality type on self-disclosure, and there was no influence of neuroticism personality type on self-disclosure in emerging adulthood users of online dating applications.
