Abstract

Penelitian dalam skripsi ini dilatar belakangi oleh fenomena banyaknya kecurangan akademik yang dilakukan oleh siswa dan sudah lama berada dalam pendidikan. Kecurangan akademik dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti efikasi diri, teman sebaya, dan integritas siswa. Penelitian ini juga dilatar belakangi oleh research gap yang dilakukan oleh peneliti-peneliti terdahulu. Rumusan masalah dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah (1) Apakah terdapat pengaruh antara efikasi diri terhadap kecurangan akademik?, (2) Apakah terdapat pengaruh antara teman sebaya terhadap kecurangan akademik?, (3) Apakah terdapat pengaruh antara integritas siswa terhadap kecurangan akademik?, dan (4) Apakah terdapat pengaruh antara efikasi diri, teman sebaya, dan integritas siswa terhadap kecurangan akademik?. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan model kuesioner atau survei. Metode analisis penelitian adalah uji statistik deskriptif, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, analisis regresi linear berganda, koefisien determinasi (R2 Square), dan uji hipotesis (Uji t dan Uji F). Hasil penelitian ini dari uji hipotesis parsial dan simultan menunjukkan bahwa (1) variabel efikasi diri berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kecurangan akademik, (2) variabel teman sebaya berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kecurangan akademik, (3) variabel integritas siswa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kecurangan akademik, dan (4) variabel efikasi diri, teman sebaya, dan integritas akademik secara bersama-sama berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap kecurangan akademik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini, yaitu variabel efikasi diri terendah daripada variabel lainnya, indikator terendah dari efikasi diri ialah objektif dalam menghadapi masalah, indikator terendah dari teman sebaya ialah pertentangan, indikator terendah dari integritas siswa ialah keberanian dan siap menerima risiko, dan indikator tertinggi dari kecurangan akademik ialah pemalsuan data. Kata kunci : Efikasi Diri, Teman Sebaya, Integritas Siswa, Kecurangan Akademik *** The research in this thesis is motivated by the phenomenon of the many academic frauds committed by students and have been in education for a long time. Academic cheating is influenced by several factors, such as self-efficacy, peers, and student integrity. This research is also motivated by research gaps conducted by previous researchers. The formulation of the problem in writing this thesis is (1)Is there an influence between self-efficacy on academic cheating?, (2) Is there an influence between peers on academic cheating?, (3) Is there an influence between student integrity on academic cheating?, and (4) Is there an influence between self-efficacy, peers, and student integrity against academic cheating?. The research method used is a quantitative method with a questionnaire or survey model. The research analysis method is descriptive statistical test, validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination (R2 Square), and hypothesis testing (t test and F test). The results of this study from partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing show that (1) the variable of self-efficacy has a negative and significant effect on academic cheating, (2) the peer variable has a positive and significant effect on academic cheating, (3) the variable of student integrity has a positive and significant effect on academic cheating, and (4) the variables of self-efficacy, peers, and academic integrity have a significant and significant effect on academic cheating. The implications of this study, namely the lowest self-efficacy variable compared to other variables, the lowest indicator of self-efficacy is objective in dealing with problems, the lowest indicator from peers is conflict, the lowest indicator of student integrity is courage and ready to accept risks, and the highest indicator of cheating academic is falsification of data.
