Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu rendahnya kemampuan ranah pemahaman peserta didik Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ranah pemahaman peserta didik dalam pembelajaran tari dengan menerapkan model Discovery Learning.. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dari Kemmis & Mc. Taggart, dilaksanakan dua siklus pada penelitian ini. Setiap siklus terdapat empat tahapan perencanaan (Planning), tindakan (Action), pengamatan (Observing), serta refleksi (Reflecting). Penelitian ini berlangsung dari bulan Maret hingga Juni 2023 di SMA Negeri 2 Depok. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa hasil observasi, wawancara, dan tes non tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik ranah pemahaman dalam pembelajaran tari, berdasarkan hasil rata-rata presentase yang diperoleh pada pra siklus 28,3, dan terjadi peningkatan pada siklus I menjadi 61,15, setelah dilakukan siklus II menjadi meningkat sebesar 93,55 Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model Discovery learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik ranah pemahaman dalam pembelajaran tari berhasil meningkat, terbukti dengan nilai tuntas yang diperoleh sebagian besar peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Model Discovery Learning, Ranah Pemahaman, Pembelajaran Tari. ***** The problem in this study, namely the low ability of students' understanding of the realm. This study aims to improve the realm of students' understanding in dance learning by applying the Discovery Learning model. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method from Kemmis & Mc. Taggart, carried out two cycles in this study. Each cycle has four stages of planning (Planning), action (Action), observation (Observing), and reflection (Reflecting). This research took place from March to June 2023 at SMA Negeri 2 Depok. Data was collected through data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews and non-written tests. The results showed that the application of the Discovery Learning model could improve the ability of students in the realm of understanding in dance learning, based on the average percentage obtained in the pre-cycle of 28,3, and there was an increase in cycle I to 61,15, after cycle II it increased by 93,55 of these results show that by applying the Discovery learning model to improve students' abilities in the realm of understanding in dance learning it has succeeded in increasing, as evidenced by the complete grades obtained by most students.
