Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan jenis-jenis dari gaya bahasa analogi yang terkandung dalam puisi karya Réne Char. Teori utama yang digunakan sebagai acuan adalah empat jenis gaya bahasa analogi yang dikemukakan oleh Fromilhague dan Yousouf yang terdiri dari gaya bahasa metafora, gaya bahasa personifikasi, gaya bahasa perbandingan dan gaya bahasa alegori. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan metode analisis isi. Prosedur penelitian melalui tahap orientasi, tahap reduksi dan tahap seleksi. Teknik analisis data menurut Miles dan Huberman. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah empat puisi karya Réne Char yang berjudul, Violences, Congé au Vent, Jeunesse dan Allégeance. Secara keseluruhan keempat puisi tersebut mengandung gaya bahasa analogi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat 32 kutipan puisi yang mengandung gaya bahasa analogi yang terdiri dari 17 gaya bahasa metafora, 2 gaya bahasa personifikasi, 4 gaya bahasa perbandingan dan 9 gaya bahasa alegori. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan gaya bahasa analogi dalam puisi-puisi karya René Char ini tampak begitu kompleks. Diperlukan imajinasi, ketelitian serta sumber yang konkret untuk menggali makna serta unsur pebanding dari gaya bahasa analogi pada puisi-puisi tersebut. Saran dari peneliti kedepannya diharapkan adanya penelitian lebih lanjut megenai ciri khas gaya bahasa lain. Dan akan lebih baik jika dapat menggunakan karya sastra lainnya sebagai sumber data. This research intent to explain the types of analogy as a figure of speech in the poems by Réne Char. The main theories used as a reference are four types of analogies according to the theory of figure of speech that proposed by Fromilhague (2010:75-84) and Yousouf (2012) which is consist metaphore, personification, comparison and allegory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques proposed by Sugiyono (2008: 17). The data collected was obtained from reading the poems and reduced into data analysis tables based on analysis criteria and then presented and concluded. The data sources used are four poems by Réne Char entitled, Violences, Congé au Vent, Jeunesse and Allégeance. Overall the four poems contain the analogy. The results of this study indicate that there are 32 poetry excerpts containing analogical language style which consists 17 of metaphore, 2 of personification, 4 of comparative and 9 of allegory. The conclusion from this research is that the use of analogy in the poems by René Char seems so complex. Imagination, thoroughness and concrete sources are needed to explore the meaning and comparative elements of the analogy style of language in these poems. Suggestions from future researchers are expected to have further research on the characteristics of other language styles. And it would be better if you can use other literary works as data sources.
