Abstract

Gigitan ular menjadi masalah kesehatan yang serius terutama pada anak-anak dan dewasa karena menyebabkan angka kesakitan dan kematian di Indonesia. Penanganan yang tepat dan cepat dapat mengurangi risiko kematian pada pasien gigitan ular. Peserta didik Sekolah Dasar adalah salah satu kriteria usia yang tepat untuk diberikan pengetahuan tentang ular dikarenakan lebih mudah menerima ide-ide serta persepsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan manajemen gigitan ular terhadap persepsi peserta didik sekolah dasar tentang ular. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen. Uji prasyarat menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Analisis data menggunakan gain score dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor rata-rata persepsi peserta didik tentang ular pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pelatihan manajemen gigitan ular terhadap persepsi peserta didik tentang terhadap ular. ***** Snakebite is a serious health problem, especially in children and adults because it causes morbidity and mortality in Indonesia. Appropriate and fast treatment can reduce the risk of death in snakebite patients. Elementary school students are one of the right age criteria to be given knowledge about snakes because they are easier to accept ideas and perceptions. This study aims to determine the effect of snakebite management training on the perceptions of elementary school students about snakes. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The prerequisite test shows that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous. Data analysis uses the gain score and hypothesis testing uses the t test. The results showed that there were differences in the average score of students' perceptions of snakes in the experimental class and the control class. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there is an influence of snakebite management training on students' perceptions of snakes.
