Abstract

Peningkatan kasus kenakalan remaja meluas. Fenomena kenakalan remaja yang terjadi sekarang ini semakin meningkat seperti penyalah gunaan narkoba, minuman keras, tawuran antar pelajar dan pergaulan bebas. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh data Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) pada tahun 2019 jumlah anak berhadapan dengan hukum mencapai 1.251 kasus dan penggunaan narkotika, psikotropika, dan zat adiktif (napza) pada anak-anak mencapai 344 kasus. Dikhawatirkan, perubahan perilaku ke arah negatif bahkan tindak kriminal menjadi persoalan masyarakat Indonesia. Nilai-nilai pendidikan dan agama menjadi hal yang penting untuk ditanamkan kepada kalangan remaja. Hal ini mendorong perupa untuk merangkum 18 (delapan belas) poin pendidikan ke dalam buku bacaan berupa komik strip dimana terdapat kisah yang dikemas sesuai dengan poin pendidikan yang mudah dipahami dan dilakukan oleh anak usia 12-14 tahun. Komik merupakan cerita yang dibuat dengan visualisasi ilustrasi berpanel yang menggunakan gaya pribadi sebagai ciri khas perupa. Penciptaan karya seni rupa ini menggunakan penelitian metodologi kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan riset Research-led Practice yang menitikberatkan kepada sumber bacaan Metodologi penelitian menggunakan observasi dan kuesioner. Karya seni rupa ini berisikan topik seputar pendidikan karakter yang ditujukan kepada anak usia 12-14 tahun. Secara garis besar, penciptaan karya seni ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi sekaligus edukasi mengenai pendidikan karakter dan poin pendidikan juga menjadi salah satu upaya pencegahan dari perilaku negatif serta perbuatan tidak baik. ***** The increase in cases among adolescents is widespread. The phenomenon of juvenile delinquency that occurs today is increasing, such as drug abuse, alcohol, brawls between students and promiscuity. This is shown by data from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) in 2019 the number of children dealing with the law reached 1,251 cases and the use of narcotics, psychotropic substances, and addictive substances (drugs) in children reached 344 cases. It is feared that changes in behavior in a negative direction and even criminal acts will become a problem for Indonesian society. The values of education and religion are important to instill in teenagers. This encourages the artist to summarize 18 (eighteen) educational points into a reading book in the form of a comic strip where there is a story packed in accordance with educational points that are easily understood and carried out by children aged 12-14 years. Comic is a story made with paneled illustration visualization that uses personal style as the artist's characteristic. The creation of this artwork uses qualitative methodology research with a research-led practice approach that focuses on reading sources. The research methodology uses observation and questionnaires. This artwork contains topics about character education aimed at children aged 12-14 years. Broadly speaking, the creation of this artwork is expected to provide information as well as education about character education and education points as well as an effort to prevent negative behavior and bad deeds.
