Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan dan menguji model pembelajaran softball. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (RnD) dari Borg and Gall. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Bina Bangsa Program Studi Penjas untuk uji coba kelompok kecil 20 orang dan mahasiswa STKIP Situs Banten untuk uji coba kelompok besar dan efektivitas sebanyak 40 orang mahasiswa yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan intrumen penilaian proses dan hasil teknik dasar softball. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 59 model pembelajaran softball. Nilai rata-rata gain score proses teknik dasar pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 0,9098 (90%) dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 0,67 (67%) didapatkan dengan simpulan nilai rata-rata proses teknik dasar kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi yang berarti berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran softball. Sedangkan, Nilai rata-rata gain score hasil teknik dasar pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 85,50 (85%) dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 0,66 (66%) didapatkan dengan simpulan nilai rata-rata hasil teknik dasar pada kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi yang berarti berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran softball. Uji perbedaan rata-rata data hasil proses dan hasil belajar teknik dasar pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol diuji dengan paired samples test didapatkan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan keterangan tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa model pembelajaran softball dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran softball. ***** The aim of this research is to produce and test a softball learning model. The method used in this research is the Research and Development (RnD) research method from Borg and Gall. The subjects in this research were Bina Bangsa University students from the Physical Education Study Program for small group trials of 20 people and STKIP Site Banten students for large group trials and the effectiveness of 40 students who were divided into experimental groups and control groups. The instrument used in this research uses an instrument for assessing the process and results of basic softball techniques. The research results obtained 59 softball learning models. The average gain score for basic technical processes in the experimental group was 0.9098 (90%) and the control group was 0.67 (67%) obtained with the conclusion that the average value for basic technical processes in the experimental group was higher, which means it contributed to improving softball learning. Meanwhile, the average gain score for the results of basic techniques in the experimental group was 85.50 (85%) and the control group was 0.66 (66%) obtained with the conclusion that the average value of the results of basic techniques in the experimental group was higher, which means contribute to improving softball learning. Testing the difference in average data from the process results and basic engineering learning outcomes in the experimental group and the control group was tested using a paired samples test, obtaining a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the averages of the experimental group and the control group. Based on this information, it can be said that the softball learning model can improve softball learning outcomes.
