Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh Cisco Packet Tracer sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XII TKJ di SMK Karya Guna Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas XII TKJ pada mata pelajaran Administrasi Infrastruktur Jaringan (AIJ). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi ekperimen dengan rancangan Pre-Test and Post-Test with Non-Equivalent Control-Group Design. Dengan teknik sampling purposive sampling ditentukan XII TKJ 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XII TKJ 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes sebanyak 25 butir soal. Selanjutnya hasil tes Pre-Test and Post-Test akan dilakukan pengujian analisis dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji N-gain score, dan pengujian hipotesis. Didapatkan hasil pengujian dengan nilai Sig. = 0,00000078 ≤ 2,01410, maka Tolak H0 atau H1 diterima. Artinya, adanya perbedaan rata-rata skor pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perbedaan rerata dari kedua kelompok kelas sampel, dengan kelompok eksperimen memiliki rerata gain score = 24,96, sedangkan kelompok kontrol memiliki rerata gain score = 7,45. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran Cisco Packet Tracer berpengaruh efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XII dibandingkan dengan hanya menggunakan media pembelajaran konvensional dalam mata pelajaran Administrasi Infrastruktur Jaringan (AIJ) di SMK Karya Guna Jakarta. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Cisco Packet Tracer, Metode Kuasi Eksperimen ************ The purpose of this research was to determined the effect of Cisco Packet Tracer as a learning medium on the learning outcomes of XII TKJ class students at SMK Karya Guna Jakarta. This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of XII TKJ class students in the subject of Network Infrastructure Administration (AIJ). The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a Pre-Test and Post-Test design with Non-Equivalent Control-Group Design. With purposive sampling technique, XII TKJ 1 was determined as the experimental class and XII TKJ 2 as the control class. This research instrument used 25 items of test. Furthermore, the Pre-Test and Post-Test test results will be analyzed by normality test, homogeneity test, N-gain score test, and hypothesis testing. The test results were obtained with a Sig value. = 0.00000078 ≤ 2.01410, then reject H0 or H1 is accepted. That means, there was an average difference in the scores of the experimental group and the control group. This was indicated by the difference in the averages of the two sample class groups, with the experimental group having an average gain score = 24.96, while the control group had an average gain score = 7.45. It was concluded that the use of Cisco Packet Tracer learning media was effective in improving the learning outcomes of XII grade students compared to only using conventional learning media in the Network Infrastructure Administration (AIJ) subject at SMK Karya Guna Jakarta.
