Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi penjumlahan pada siswa hambatan pendengaran kelas III di SLBN 5 Jakarta melalui metode demonstrasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tiga siswa hambatan pendengaran, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan observasi, kemudian data dianalisis melalui tahap pengumpulan data, pengelompokan data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan berupa deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan nilai tes siswa, pada pra siklus diperoleh nilai siswa Ai 40, Di 40, dan Ic 50, pada siklus I belum memenuhi kriteria peningkatan hasil yang diharapkan yaitu 65, nilai siswa pada siklus I yaitu Ai 60, Di 50 dan Ic 70. Pada siklus II, diperoleh peningkatan nilai yaitu siswa Ai 70, Di 80, dan Ic 90, kesimpulannya metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi penjumlahan pada siswa dengan hambatan pendengaran kelas III di SLBN 5 Jakarta ***** This research aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes in addition through demonstration method for third-grade hearing-impaired students at SLBN 5 Jakarta. The subjects of this research were three students with hearing impairments. This research used a classroom action research method, which included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in two cycles, with data collection performed through tests and observations. The data were then analyzed through stages of data collection, data grouping, data reduction, and drawing descriptive conclusions. The results of the research demonstrated an increase in student test scores. In the pre-cycle, the student scores were Ai 40, Di 40, and Ic 50. In the first cycle, they did not meet the criteria for the expected increase, which was 65. Student scores in the first cycle were Ai 60, Di 50, and Ic 70. In cycle II, an increase in scores was obtained, namely Ai 70, Di 80, and Ic 90. In conclusion, the demonstration method can improve mathematics learning outcomes in addition for third-grade students with hearing impairments at SLBN 5 Jakarta.
