Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengurangi perilaku agresif memukul teman pada siswa dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) dan menggantinya dengan perilaku yang baru yaitu berjabat tangan dan menyapa dengan baik dan benar. Perilaku agresif masih ditemukan pada siswa dengan ASD sebagaimana kasus MA yang duduk di kelas VIII. MA sering memukul temannya di sekolah karena terpengaruh dari tontonan bertema aksi. Intervensi yang dilakukan sebelumnya adalah subjek diarahkan untuk memukul dirinya sendiri. Mengingat hal tersebut akan berdampak negatif terhadap MA, peneliti menggagas menggunakan Video Self-Modeling (VSM) sebagai bentuk intervensi dalam mengurangi perilaku agresif memukul teman. Pada tahap baseline pertama (A1) dilakukan sebanyak 5 sesi dengan jumlah frekuensi memukul teman paling banyak 8 kali dan paling sedikit 4 kali. Kemudian pada tahap intervensi dilakukan sebanyak 12 sesi dengan jumlah frekuensi memukul teman paling banyak 5 kali dan paling sedikit 1 kali. Subjek mengamati VSM dalam waktu yang telah ditentukan secara konsisten. Tahap baseline kedua (A2) dilakukan sebanyak 5 sesi (VSM tidak ditayangkan kepada subjek). Frekuensi memukul teman pada tahap ini hanya muncul 1 kali. Hasil menunjukkan frekuensi memukul teman dari tahap baseline pertama (A1) hingga baseline kedua (A2) menurun. Selama intervensi berlangsung, bantuan dari guru kelas dan teman sebaya juga ikut terlibat. Dengan demikian VSM dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai salah satu intervensi untuk mengurangi perilaku agresif. ***** The aim of this research is to reduce the aggressive behavior of hitting friends in students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and replace it with new behavior, namely shaking hands and greeting well and correctly. Aggressive behavior is still found in students with ASD, as in the case of MA who is in grade VIII. MA often hits her friends at school because influenced by action-themed shows. The previous intervention was that the subject directed to hit himself. Considering that this would have a negative impact on MA, researchers initiated using Video SelfModeling (VSM) as a form of intervention to reduce aggressive behavior in hitting friends. In the first baseline stage (A1), 5 sessions were carried out with a maximum frequency of hitting friends 8 times and at least 4 times. Then, at the intervention stage, 12 sessions were carried out with a maximum frequency of hitting friends 5 times and at least 1 time. Subjects observe the VSM for a predetermined time consistently. The second baseline stage (A2) was carried out in 5 sessions (VSM was not shown to the subjects). The frequency of hitting friends at this stage only appears once. The frequency results show that hitting friends from the first baseline (A1) to the second baseline (A2) stage decreased. During the intervention, help from the class teacher and peers was also involved. Thus, VSM can be considered as an intervention to reduce aggressive behavior.
