Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa permainan playpen (playdough dan pensil balut) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan bagi anak hambatan intelektual kelas IV SLB Dewi Sri Kartika, Jakarta Utara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2023 sampai bulan Desember 2023 dengan subyek penelitian anak kelas IV SLB Dewi Sri Kartika sebanyak 4 anak. Fokus penelitian ini adalah permainan Playpen (Playdough dan pensil balut) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan bagi anak hambatan intelektual kelas IV SLB Dewi Sri Kartika Jakarta Utara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus. Setiap siklus menggunakan prosedur tindakan yaitu perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan perhitungan belajar tuntas yang menghasilkan peningkatan persentase hasil belajar. Peneliti telah menetapkan kriteria ketuntasan minimal 60 % untuk kemampuan menulis permulaan. Sebelum melakukan tindakan siklus I, penulis mengadakan pretes untuk memperoleh data awal. Dari hasil pretes untuk kemampuan menulis permulaan anak hambatan intelektual semua siswa memperoleh hasil di bawah 60% berarti masih dibawah ketuntasan minimal yang sudah ditentukan. Setelah dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas pada akhir siklus II diperoleh data bahwa semua subyek penelitian telah memperoleh nilai tes antara 60% sampai 68% berarti telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah Pemainan Playpen (Playdough dan pensil balut) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan bagi anak hambatan intelektual kelas IV SLB Dewi Sri Kartika Jakarta Utara. ***** This research aims to find out whether playpen games (playdough and wrapped pencils) can improve initial writing skills for children with intellectual disabilities in class IV at SLB Dewi Sri Kartika, North Jakarta. This research was carried out from July 2023 to December 2023 with 4 children as research subjects in grade IV SLB Dewi Sri Kartika. The focus of this research is Playpen games (Playdough and wrapped pencils) to improve initial writing skills for children with intellectual disabilities in class IV at SLB Dewi Sri Kartika, North Jakarta. This research was carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle uses action procedures, namely action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. Data analysis in this research uses a complete learning calculation which results in an increase in the percentage of learning outcomes. Researchers have set a minimum completeness criterion of 60% for initial writing skills. Before carrying out the first cycle of action, the author conducted a pretest to obtain initial data. From the pretest results for the beginning writing ability, all students obtained results below 60%, meaning they were still below the minimum level of completion that had been determined. After conducting classroom action research at the end of cycle II, data was obtained that all research subjects had obtained test scores between 60% and 68%, meaning they had met the criteria for completion. The conclusion from the results of this research is that playpen games (playdough and pencils) can improve initial writing skills for children with intellectual disabilities in class IV at SLB Dewi Sri Kartika, North Jakarta.
