Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pola aktivitas mahasiwi UNJ dalam memburu diskon pada Live Shopping TikTok Shop serta keterlekatan antara perburuan diskon kosmetik dengan platform Live Shopping TikTok Shop. Penelitian ini dikhususkan kepada mahasiswa/i Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada saat Live Shopping di TikTok Shop berlangsung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi naratif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 6 bulan terhitung pada bulan Juni hingga Desember 2023 dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 5 orang yang merupakan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang pernah membeli produk kosmetik melalui Live Shopping di TikTok Shop. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan adalah fenomena Live Shopping di TikTok Shop merupakan fenomena baru dalam berbelanja online yang hadir untuk memudahkan konsumen dalam melakukan pembelian produk. Namun, dengan adanya fitur yang serba canggih ini akhirnya memicu keterlekatan antara pembeli dengan platform, gaya hidup digital, dan juga pemasaran digital. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa fenomena perburuan diskon ini terjadi oleh beberapa faktor yang mendukung dari platform TikTok sendiri. Kata Kunci: Platform TikTok, Keterlekatan, Diskon Kosmetik, Live Shopping TikTok Shop, Pola Perilaku Pembelian. *** This study aims to determine the activity patterns of Universitas Negeri Jakarta’s students in hunting for discounts on TikTok Shop Live Shopping and the attachment between hunting for cosmetic discounts and the TikTok Shop Live Shopping platform. This research is devoted to students of the Jakarta State University during Live Shopping at TikTok Shop. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a narrative study research method. This research was conducted at Jakarta State University. This research was conducted for 6 months from June to December 2023 with 5 research subjects who are students of the State University of Jakarta who have purchased cosmetic products through Live Shopping at TikTok Shop. The results of the research that has been carried out are that the Live Shopping phenomenon at TikTok Shop is a new phenomenon in online shopping that is present to facilitate consumers in making product purchases. However, the existence of this sophisticated feature eventually triggered the attachment between buyers and platforms, digital lifestyles, and also digital marketing. This shows that the phenomenon of discount hunting occurs by several factors that support the TikTok platform itself.
