Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh green movement terhadap green consumer behavior pada mahasiswa pada Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan bulan Desember 2023. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling dan melibatkan 369 mahasiswa. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur green consumer behavior terdiri atas 28 butir pernyataan berdasarkan dimensi searching, purchasing, using, dan disposing. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur green movement terdiri atas 26 pernyataan berdasarkan dimensi actual commitment, verbal commitment, affect, dan knowledge. Data diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial, yaitu uji regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil persamaan regresi dapat diketahui bahwa jika variabel green movement dinaikan satu satuan, maka variabel green consumer behavior akan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 1,108 pada konstanta 3,005. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koefisien determinasi oleh nilai R Square = 0,620 artinya 62% variabilitas variabel green consumer behavior dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel green movement, sedangkan 32% variabilitas green consumer behavior dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi green movement maka semakin tinggi green consumer behavior ***** This study aims to analyze the effect of green movement on green consumer behavior in students at the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta. This research was conducted from August to December 2023. The sample in this study was selected using purposive sampling technique and involved 369 students. Data were obtained using a questionnaire. The instrument used to measure green consumer behavior consists of 28 statement items based on the dimensions of searching, purchasing, using, and disposing. The instrument used to measure green movement consists of 26 statements based on the dimensions of actual commitment, verbal commitment, affect, and knowledge. The data were processed and analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, namely the simple linear regression test. Based on the results of the regression equation, it can be seen that if the green movement variable is increased by one unit, the green consumer behavior variable will increase by 1.108 at a constant 3.005. The results showed the coefficient of determination by the value of R Square = 0.620, meaning that 62% of the variability of the green consumer behavior variable can be explained by the green movement variable, while 32% of the variability of green consumer behavior is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. These results indicate that the higher the green movement, the higher the green consumer behavior. Keywords: environmental knowledge, green consumer behavior, green movement
