Abstract

Modul merupakan bahan ajar yang disusun secara sistematis berisikan materi pembelajaran dan dapat memudahkan peserta didik belajar secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan media pembelajaran berupa modul pada materi Dekorasi Siraman Pengantin Adat Jawa Tengah di program studi Pendidikan Tata Rias. Pembuatan modul ini dimak-sudkan sebagai sumber belajar mandiri yang dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman pada materi dekorasi siraman pengantin adat Jawa Tengah baik secara teori maupun praktek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model penelitian 4D (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination) oleh Thiagarajan. Sasaran penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan sebagai objek dalam penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang telah mengambi mata kuliah Seni Dekorasi Ruang Khusus Tata Rias tahun 2019 dan 2020. Evaluasi modul pembelajaran melalui uji validitas dan uji praktikalitas. Validasi modul dilakukan oleh seorang ahli media memperoleh nilai sebesar 95,714% dan seorang ahli materi memperoleh nilai sebesar 97,778% yang artinya modul pembelajaran tersebut layak. Hasil uji coba terbatas memperoleh nilai sebesar 81,904%, sedangkan uji coba skala besar memperoleh nilai sebesar 90,133%, yang artinya modul pembelajaran tersebut praktis. Dengan demikian, hasil pengembangan modul pembelajaran Dekorasi Siraman Pengantin Adat Jawa Tengah dinyatakan layak dan praktis. Modules are teaching materials that are systematically arranged containing learning material and can make it easier for students to learn independently. This research aims to describe the development of learning media in the form of mod-ules on Central Javanese Traditional Bridal Shower Decoration material in the Makeup Education study program. The creation of this module is intended as an independent learning resource that can be used as a guide on Central Javanese traditional bridal shower decoration material both in theory and practice. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D research model (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination) by Thiagarajan. The targets of the research and development used as objects in the research are students of the Jakarta State University Cosmetology Education Study Program who have taken the Special Room Decoration Arts and Cosmetology course in 2019 and 2020. Evaluation of the learning module through a validity test and practicality test. Module validation was carried out by a media expert who obtained a score of 95.714% and a material expert obtained a score of 97.778%, which means the learning module was feasible. The results of the limited trial obtained a score of 81.904%, while the large-scale trial obtained a score of 90.133%, which means the learning module was practical. Thus, the results of the development of the Central Java Traditional Bridal Shower Decoration learning module were declared feasible and practical.
