Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media pembelajaran video Youtube terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI Sosial pada materi Persebaran Flora dan Fauna di Indonesia dan Dunia di SMAN 113 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui pendekatan quasy eksperimen. Pada pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling atau teknik pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu yaitu berdasarkan jumlah siswa yang sama, rata-rata ulangan harian Bab I yang sama dan guru geografi yang sama. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas XI – 8 Sosial sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media pembelajaran video Youtube dalam pembelajaran dan kelas XI – 7 Sosial sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media pembelajaran konvensional yaitu PowerPoint dalam pembelajaran. Pengambilan data diperoleh melalui pre-test dan post test. Hasil uji instrumen penelitian, data bernilai valid dan reliabel. Pada persyaratan analisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas yang menyatakan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan bersifat homogen. Hasil analisis data menyatakan bahwa nilai signifikan (sig.) yakni 0% dengan ketentuan dasar jika nilai sig. (2-tailed) < 5% maka terdapat perbedaan. Sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Melihat hasil perhitungan tersebut, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Perbedaan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran video Youtube memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI Sosial pada materi persebaran flora dan fauna di Indonesia dan dunia di SMAN 113 Jakarta. *********** The research aims to analyze the influence of Youtube videos learning media on learning outcomes for class XI Social on the topic of The Distribution of Flora and Fauna in Indonesia and The World at Senior High School 113 of Jakarta. This research uses quantitative method through quasy experimental approach. In this study using purposive sampling technique with certain considerations which is based on the same number of students, the same average of daily tests for Chapter I and the same geography teacher. The samples in this study are XI – 8 Social as an experimental class that will use Youtube videos in learning and XI – 7 Social as a control class that will use Powerpoint in learning. Data collection was obtained through pre-test and post test. In the results of the research instrument test, the data is valid and reliable. In the results of the analysis requirements using normality test and homogeneity test which states that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of data analysis state that the significant value (sig.) is 0% with the basic provisions if the sig value. (2-tailed) < 5% then it has a differences. Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Looking at the results of these calculations, there are differences in the cognitive learning outcomes of the experimental and control classes. This difference shows that the YouTube video learning media has an influence on the cognitive learning outcomes of class XI Social students on the distribution of flora and fauna in Indonesia and the world at SMAN 113 Jakarta.
