Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap kemandirian belajar mata pelajaran IPAS siswa kelas IV SD. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV di SDN Bendungan Hilir 01 Pagi Jakarta Pusat sebanyak 30 siswa untuk kelas eksperimen dan 30 siswa untuk kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, dengan desain posttest only control design. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes berbentuk kuesioner mengenai kemandirian belajar yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data posttest dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji-t. Kedua kelompok tersebut memperoleh t-hitung sebesar 6,59, sedangkan t-tabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan dk=58 adalah sebesar 1,67, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa thitung > ttabel berarti hipotesis kerja (H1) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap kemandirian belajar pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV SD. Oleh sebab itu, guru perlu mengetahui menenai model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa. ***** The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on the learning independence of students in science subjects (IPAS) in fourth-grade elementary school. The sample in this study was class IV students at SDN Bendungan Hilir 01 Pagi, Central Jakarta, 30 students for the experimental class and 30 students for the control class. The sampling technique employed is simple random sampling. The research method used is an experimental method with a posttest-only control design. Data collection is conducted using a questionnaire instrument regarding learning independence, which has been tested for validity and reliability. Posttest data from the experimental class and control class were analyzed using normality, homogeneity and t-tests. The two groups obtain a t-count of 6.59 while the t-table at a significance level of 0.05 and dk=58 was 1.67, so it can be said that t-count > t-table means the working hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. This suggests a significant influence of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on learning independence of students in the Science subject for fourth-grade elementary school. Therefore, teachers need to be aware of effective learning models to increase student learning independence.
