Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan perilaku bullying pada kalangan remaja di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 73 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui angket atau kuesioner, wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas VIII dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang dilakukan sebanyak 58 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan data yang bersumber dari data primer yang dianalisis dan diukur menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa perilaku bullying pada kalangan remaja di sekolah berada dalam kategori tinggi dengan jumlah skor sebesar 8618. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa banyak remaja yang pemahaman dan kesadarannya masih kurang mengenai jenis-jenis perilaku bullying sehingga masih banyak terjadi perilaku bullying di sekolah dan upaya yang dilakukan sekolah secara keseluruhan belum berjalan dengan efektif. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 73 Jakarta. The research method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used through questionnaires, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The subjects of this research were class VIII students using a purposive sampling technique which was conducted as many as 58 people. Data analysis technique used with data sourced from primary data are analyzed and measured using descriptive analysis techniques. The research results concluded that bullying behavior among adolescents at school was in the high category with a total score of 8618. So it can be said that many adolescents still lack understanding and awareness of the types of bullying behavior so that there is still a lot of bullying behavior in schools and the efforts made by the schools as a whole have not been effective.
