Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pelatihan keterampilan komputer pada remaja di Panti Sosial Bina Remaja Taruna Jaya Jakarta serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dari pelaksanaan pelatihan keterampilan komputer. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan remaja yang mempunyai latar belakang yang berbeda-beda seperti anak jalanan, remaja putus sekolah, atau remaja yang berasal dari keluarga tidak mampu yang mana mereka diberikan pembinaan melalui pelatihan keterampilan komputer yang bertujuan untuk memberikan bekal kepada remaja agar dapat digunakan di masa mendatang untuk hidupnya yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi pelatihan keterampilan komputer di Panti Sosial Bina Remaja Taruna Jaya Jakarta dilaksanakan dengan tahap mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi. Adapun faktor pendukung dari implementasi pelatihan keterampilan komputer yaitu lingkungan, komunikasi, serta ruangan komputer. Sedangkan faktor penghambat ada pada daya tangkap remaja, rasa malas dari diri remaja pribadi, serta acara dadakan yang dilakukan panti. ***** The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of computer skills training for adolescents at Taruna Jaya Jakarta Youth Development Social Institution and the supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of computer skills training. This research is motivated by the problem of adolescents who have different backgrounds such as street children, teenagers dropping out of school, or adolescents who come from poor families where they are given guidance through computer skills training which aims to provide provisions for adolescents so that they can be used in the future for a better life. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of computer skills training at the Taruna Jaya Youth Development Social in Jakarta was carried out in stages starting from planning, implementation, to evaluation. As for supporting factors for the implementation of computer skills training, namely the environment, communication, and computer rooms. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the teenagers' ability to catch up, laziness from the teenagers themselves, and impromptu events held by the orphanage.
