Abstract

Kondisi mesin yang baik dan kelengkapan peralatan pendukung serta modernisasi mesin sesuai dengan kemajuan teknologi merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat memenuhi capaian pembelajaran pada mata kuliah praktik. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) melihat kesesuaian dari kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana laboratorium produksi untuk memenuhi capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah (CPMK) praktik mesin dasar di program studi pendidikan teknik mesin Universitas Negeri Jakarta. (2) melihat kelayakan sarana dan prasarana laboratorium produksi yang digunakan dalam memenuhi capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah praktik mesin dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan dilaksanakan di gedung M laboratorium produksi teknik mesin Universitas Negeri Jakarta menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sarana dan prasarana laboratorium produksi teknik mesin Universitas Negeri Jakarta belum mencukupi pemenuhan dari kebutuhan mata kuliah praktik mesin dasar. Dimana jumlah peralatan pendukung, luas area dan kondisi mesin dalam keadaan yang kurang baik, seperti halnya kondisi mesin yang tidak center, parameter pada skala mesin bubut sudah tidak dapat terbaca dan kondisi eretan pada mesin bubut yang kesat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Sarana dan prasarana laboratorium produksi teknik mesin Universitas Negeri Jakarta belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan untuk memenuhi capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah praktik mesin dasar. (2) Sarana dan prasarana laboratorium produksi teknik mesin Universitas Negeri Jakarta belum dapat digunakan dengan maksimal untuk memenuhi kualitas dari kebutuhan capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah praktik mesin dasar. This research aims to: (1) Assess the suitability of facilities and infrastructure in the production laboratory to meet the learning outcomes of the basic machine practice course (CPMK) in the mechanical engineering education program at Jakarta State University. (2) Evaluate the feasibility of the facilities and infrastructure in the production laboratory used to meet the learning outcomes of the basic machine practice course. This research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method and is conducted in building M of the mechanical engineering production laboratory at Jakarta State University, employing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results indicate that the facilities and infrastructure in the mechanical engineering production laboratory at Jakarta State University are insufficient to meet the requirements of the basic machine practice course. Issues include an inadequate number of supporting equipment, limited area space, and machines in poor condition, such as misalignment of machines, unreadable parameters on the lathe machine scale, and rough conditions on the lathe machine bed. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that: (1) The facilities and infrastructure of the mechanical engineering production laboratory at Jakarta State University are not in line with the requirements to meet the learning outcomes of the basic machine practice course. (2) The facilities and infrastructure of the mechanical engineering production laboratory at Jakarta State University cannot be maximally utilized to meet the quality of the learning outcomes of the basic machine practice course.
