Abstract
MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA VERBAL MELALUI BKPBI PADA SISWA TUNARUNGU KELAS IV SDLB B ALFIANY CENGKARENG, JAKARTA BARAT Anik Khorida Abstrak Dasar dari penelitian ini berawal dari kemampuan berkomunikasi verbal siswa kelas IV di SLB B Alfiany Jakarta Barat masih rendah, mereka masih sulit menangkap dan mengerti pesan yang disampaikan orang lain, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan metode latihan BKPBI dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bicara verbal siswa tunarungu kelas IV SLB B Alfiany Jakarta Barat. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif, desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart yang terdiri dari dua siklus dengan empat kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SLB B Alfiany Jakarta Barat dengan subjek penelitian 4 siswa tunarungu kelas IV. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan model analisis data kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, mengambil kesimpulan dan memverifikasi data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan artikulasi dengan nama benda huruf bilabial diawal pada siklus 1 dan latihan mengucapkan kalimat tanya sederhana pada siklus 2 dapat meningkatkan bicara verbal dan nilai Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa tunarungu kelas IV SDLB B Alfiany Cengkareng Jakarta Barat. Kata kunci: Komunikasi, berbicara verbal, BKPBI dan siswa tunarungu IMPROVING VERBAL SPEAKING SKILLS THROUGH BKPBI FOR GRADE IV DEAF STUDENTS OF SDLB B ALFIANY CENGKARENG, WEST JAKARTA Anik Khorida Abstract ***** The basis of this study began with the verbal communication ability of grade IV students at SLB B Alfiany West Jakarta is still low, they are still difficult to grasp and understand the messages conveyed by others, this study aims to develop BKPBI training methods in improving the verbal speech skills of grade IV deaf students of SLB B Alfiany West Jakarta. This research method uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with a qualitative approach, the research design uses the Kemmis and Taggart models which consist of two cycles with four activities, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research was conducted at SLB B Alfiany, West Jakarta with the research subjects of 4 grade IV deaf students. The collected data is analyzed using qualitative data analysis models through data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verifying data. Research findings show that articulation exercises with bilabial letter object names at the beginning of cycle 1 and simple question sentence practice in cycle 2 can improve verbal speech and Indonesian scores in grade IV deaf students of SDLB B Alfiany Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
